Moody Bohemian Intimate Backyard Wedding // Jordan + Dustin // Kingston, WA

I am so excited to be sharing these photos with you guys! Jordan and Dustin put together such an incredible, moody and bohemian backyard wedding past August. This wedding day came straight out of my dreams.

Jordan spent the morning beside her best friends. There was no shortage of love or girl power on this wedding day. Dustin got ready alongside his best man and his son. While everyone was getting ready, J+D also snuck off to get matching tattoos which is something I’ve never seen on a wedding day!

One of my favorite parts of the day was the first look. Jordan and Dustin chose to have a less traditional, but super meaningful first look with Dustin’s kids.

Jordan and Dustin’s ceremony space was simple, but gorgeous! Since this was a backyard wedding, it was a really intimate ceremony surrounded by 45 people they love the most. Like I said before, Jordan did HER wedding HER way, and that meant having a whole parade of flower girls. There was so much love and excitement between the girls, and it was so awesome to see Jordan as a bride, surrounded by every single one of her favorite littles. Once they officially tied the knot and ran down the aisle, confetti flew around them from all directions. It was one of my favorite ceremony exits actually–the photos are so cute!

After their ceremony, I got a peak at their reception space and wow… my mind was blown! I knew that Jordan was an incredible wedding planner, but this space honestly looked cooler than I could have ever imagined! The food was amazing, and the energy was electric. It felt like one big backyard family dinner, which I loved!

Before the sun went down, I stole Jordan and Dustin away to run around the property a little bit. These two were naturals in front of the camera.

Once the sun went down, the party really started. The dance floor was so fun and everyone was celebrating. They handed out glow sticks to everyone, and it was one hell of a party.

Between the pasta food truck, the dessert table, craft cocktails and late night pizza- they took care of their guests and made sure they were fueled up for hours of dancing! I got the chance to hang up my camera, snag a drink, and dance with the gang. I left feeling SO excited to edit these photos.

If there’s one thing to know about Jordan it’s that she loves intentional moments, and their wedding day was full of them, from the first look as a family to eating their favorite meal for dinner, this day was authentically them.
