Pike Place Engagement Photographer

Kayla and Nick made a weekend out of getting their engagement photos done. They rented a hotel room at the Arctic Club Hotel which is a beautiful and vintage hotel in downtown Seattle. As a Seattle engagement photographer, I like when people make the experience their own. We spent a day exploring the city, capturing their love story in different places.

From Pike Place Engagement Photographer to the Hotel Room

We began on a rooftop, taking in the city’s breathtaking views. Then, we moved to their hotel room, getting creative with our shots in this unique setting. Finally, we headed to Pike Place Market, cleverly avoiding the crowds by going near evening to capture their love in this iconic spot. It was fun to do a mix of epic city shots, intimate hotel room shots, and then to Pike Place which gave them a taste of Seattle since they were visiting.

City Engagement Shoots

City engagements mix romance with modern style. Inside the hotel, we captured intimate moments blending sophistication and love. It’s a fusion of modern charm and timeless affection that fits right into the city’s vibe. While on the rooftop and at Pike Place we could do some more traditional posing, in the hotel room we got to be creative. It felt a little bit like mixing my boudoir work and engagement sessions.

We pour some drinks, changed into different outfits and got to pose them sitting together in a chair, playing on the bed, and sipping their drinks together. Lots of laughter ensued and it helped to amp up the session and energy.
