Moody Fall Golden Hour Maternity Photos // Hurricane Ridge, Washington

I am so excited to share these beautiful, glowy and moody photos from this adorable families maternity session last fall. I met up with these two and their sweet, giggly babe at Hurricane Ridge inside of Washington’s Olympic National Park. I had such an amazing time chasing this growing family through the tall grass, and capturing these special memories as the sun started to set behind them. The lighting was literally perfect, and I love how golden and moody these photos turned out. My favorite time to do photos will always be within about an hour of sunset and even a little after the sun sinks below the horizon!

I was also super obsessed with Deon’s dress! You could tell that she felt so beautiful wearing it, which is truly all I could ask for as a photographer. Their son was so adorable and sweet, I literally could not get enough of all the toddler giggles. I was seriously smiling from the very beginning to end of this shoot. As a mom myself, I love that my job gives me the opportunity to document these milestones in my clients’ lives and keep them forever. I had so much capturing this fam’s last little bit of time as a family of three before welcoming the new babe, and it was so sweet to watch them all snuggle up together at the end. If there’s one thing that i’m sure of, their baby is so lucky to have such wonderful parents and the cutest big brother!
