Courntey and Jon wanted a romantic Seattle wedding, so what better venue than Sodo Park? After touring multiple different venues, Courtney and Jon decided to go with Sodo Park because they fell in love with the unique, intimate feel of it. After they made that decision, everything went up from there.
When they communicated their vision to me after inquiring, I was beyond stoked to photograph their day. As someone who is in love with the PNW, I was so excited to be able to incorporate different aspects of the diverse area we live in. When taking their portraits, we got to visit the iconic spots like Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. Both of these places really reflect the heart and soul of Seattle, and I’m obsessed with the way their photos came out!
So many aspects of Courney and Jon’s day were handmade and designed by Courtney, which made their wedding even more personal than it already was. Their day reflected their personalities so perfectly, right down to Courtney’s minimalist wedding gown and the 90’s jams that had everyone on the dance floor. They even had a choreographed first dance that put a smile on everyone’s face, guests and vendors alike.
All in all, Courtney and Jon’s wedding came together so amazingly well, all thanks to their kick ass team of vendors and the couple’s willingness to work with them. I had the best time being a part of their day, and I know all of their guests felt the same way. C + J, I can’t wait to keep up with your journey as a married couple!
