Romantic Summer PNW wedding // Poulsbo, WA // Seth + Destiny
You guys, I am SO EXCITED to share the photos from Seth and Destiny’s absolutely breathtaking, romantic wedding in the PNW! As a Washington native myself, nothing makes me happier than being tucked away in the trees of the PNW, celebrating love with my amazing clients. Seth and Destiny shared a picture perfect day with their family and friends in Poulsbo, Washington at Valley Meadows. Although their day was smack dab in the middle of summer, every single person toughed out the heat and supported these two!
From the moment I met these two when we shot their engagement photos, I knew right away that we were going to get along super well. Not only did we connect over our love for dogs, Seth and Destiny are seriously two of the sweetest people i’ve ever met. The love they share is incredibly genuine and heartfelt, and I had literally been counting down the days until their wedding.
Seth and Destiny both spent their morning taking in ALL the wedding day butterflies. Destiny had the sweetest group of bridesmaids, who were so incredibly supportive and loving towards her. Destiny cuddled up with her ADORABLE nieces, and I loved that she found a way to give them such a special role in her big day. Seth, alongside his best buddies, counted down to the moment he got to see his beautiful girl as a glowing bride… cue the TEARS!!
I was so blown away by the incredible bohemian details and decor during these two’s wedding day. From handmade macrame by the bride, to all the thrifted and colorful vases. Destiny spent so long making sure that every single detail of her day felt genuine and authentic to her, and she did not miss a beat! This wedding definitely goes down as one of the most beautiful days i’ve ever been a part of.
Destiny and Seth shared the sweetest ceremony, and there seriously was not a dry eye in the room. From the look on Seth’s face when Destiny walked down the aisle, to the incredibly loving vows they shared.. every moment was out of a fairytale. Seriously, every last second had me feeling all the feels!
After their ceremony, I followed these two lovers into the tall trees of the PNW forest. We did some super romantic portraits with a cute treehouse and they didn’t waste a moment soaking up that just married feelin’. Destiny and Seth have the sweetest, most contagious smiles that left my cheeks sore from smiling. We laughed, we celebrated, and above all we created memories to last a lifetime!
As the sun set, Seth and Destiny served some of THE BEST food EVER! The highlight of their dinner was definitely the crab, that goes down 100% as my favorite wedding meal ever. But Seth also cooked Italian food to share with their guests! He is a chef and this pasta looked soooo damn good. One of the most special details of the day was when Seth and Destiny stood beside their family and shared a super sweet, traditional and cultural unity. Sparks flew all night long as everybody laughed and threw down on the dance floor! From the youngest to oldest of guests, every single person including myself was so pumped to celebrate these lovers. Seth and Destiny shared such an amazing day, and I just feel so lucky I got to be a part of it!
